Location: Koziakas
Koziakas or Kerketio Mountain is a mountain in the prefecture of Trikala, stretching from Kalambaka to Pyli Trikala. Its ridge is bare and rocky and covered by sparse coniferous forests, meadows and scrubland. Its highest peak is at an altitude of 1.901 metres.
The tectonic unit of Koziakas mountain along with the ophiolitic rocks are tectonically placed towards the west on the Tertiary flysch of the Pindos zone, forming the Koziakas thrust fault zone.
