ΖINDROS – HAGIOGRAPHIES

The company “Byzantine Icons Zindros” was founded in 1974 by Dimitrios Zindros in a small workshop in Meteora, with the main purpose of producing faithful copies of Byzantine icons and aiming at the preservation and dissemination of Byzantine iconography and Orthodox Byzantine art.

Since then, the company has evolved and gained a recognized position in the global market of Byzantine icons and ecclesiastical items, with a presence in major shrines worldwide.

Combining traditional techniques with modern technology, the company produces top quality products, remaining faithful to the Byzantine principles as established in the first half of the second millennium.

Products include paintings, church items, tourist items and wooden souvenirs – corporate gifts.

The headquarters and the craft are located at the 1st km of the Regional Road Kalambaka – Meteora, 42200, Kalambaka. There is also a wholesale branch in Athens, at 83 Kasomouli, 11744, N. Kosmos, near the metro stop “Ag. Ioannis”.
