ROUTE Kastraki – Holy Monastery Ipapantis

Starting from Kastraki, one can follow a beautiful route to reach the I.M. Ipapanti. The holy monastery is built on a cave of meteoric rock. The path that leads to it is not particularly difficult, while on its way the hiker encounters special landscapes and forests. Near the holy monastery along the route one can admire the monument of Papathymios Vlahava in a very impressive viewpoint. The route is very pleasant, of moderate difficulty even for a simple visitor, without any particular experience in hiking, the view of the rocks of Meteora and the acquaintance with the flora and fauna of the area make up a unique landscape that is worth enjoying. In addition, the user is given the opportunity to continue his/her journey through other routes with which this path joins.
