FETA METEORA

The company “Meteora Cheese Products” was founded in 1988 by Andreas and Ioannis Kaltsouda, based in Mykani Kalambaka, near the sacred rocks of Meteora. Every day they collect pure, fresh goat and sheep milk from local farmers, ensuring quality through special cooling tanks. The company applies an integrated food safety system, producing products of excellent quality.

Their main product is the traditional feta cheese “METEORA”, a traditional Greek cheese made from sheep’s milk with up to 30% goat’s milk, mainly from animals of the region, known for the purity and variety of its flora. Feta “METEORA” has been registered as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), ensuring its authenticity and high quality.

Apart from the traditional feta, the company produces other cheese products, such as giudotyri, maintaining tradition and quality at every stage of production.
