Event at the Meteora – Pyli Geopark for the World Soil Day
On the occasion of the celebration of the World Soil Day on December 5, the Meteora – Pyli Geopark organizes a special conference entitled: “Travelling to Meteora – Pyli Geopark: Discovering unique activities in nature”. The event will take place on Sunday, 8 December 2024, at 12:00 pm, at the Meteora and Pyli Municipalities’ pavilions, at the Elves’ Mill in Trikala. The aim of the conference is to highlight the Geopark of Pyli and the importance of soil management and protection as a key element of sustainable development. The speakers of the workshop will be:
- Nikos Kroupis, mountaineer and mountain driving instructor.
- Vassilios Theodorou, rock climbing instructor and organizer of actions to connect man and nature.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about unique outdoor activities that promote sustainability and to discuss the possibilities offered by the Geopark for the protection of natural capital. We invite you to participate in this unique experience that combines knowledge and contact with nature!
