The Meteora-Pyli Geopark moves forward dynamically with the development of the “Operational Design of the Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI)”, making use of one of the most important financial and programming tools of the NSRF 2021–2027 for the implementation of cohesive and targeted development interventions.
In this context, two special events will be held to present the ITI Strategy of the Meteora-Pyli Geopark — one in the Municipality of Meteora and one in the Municipality of Pyli — during which the main pillars of the strategy, the intervention priorities, and the opportunities for utilizing European funding will be discussed.
At the same time, a consultation will take place with local stakeholders, community groups, and active citizens, aiming to refine the Strategic Objectives of the ITI and to formulate proposals for specific actions and interventions that will shape the Comprehensive Strategic Plan of the Meteora-Pyli Geopark (Action Plan).
The event in the Municipality of Meteora will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at the Documentation and Education Centre of Theopetra Cave.
