Vrachos camping is located in Kastraki Trikala just 1km from Kalambaka and the Railway Station. The huge stone volumes of Meteora that tower imposingly all around as well as the world famous monasteries of the region built on the tops of the rocks are a unique sight for every visitor.
Since 1965, the Vrachos campsite offers an alternative way of staying to thousands of visitors of the area throughout the year, whether they are nature and adventure lovers or simply for the family looking for a few days of tranquility, preferring the advantages of an ideal camping site.
The unique location of our facilities can be a base for excursions to nearby areas such as Lake Plastira, Metsovo, the cave of God Stone and many others. For visitors without transport, the K.T.E.L. stop at the entrance of the campsite facilitates your movement.
The campsite has a restaurant with home cooking, a mini-market, cooking hobs and a barbecue for free use. The dense shade throughout the camping area, the magnificent view from the swimming pool and the excellent conditions in the modern sanitary facilities are some of the main features that contribute to an unforgettable and pleasant stay.
