Geosites of the Geopark of Meteora – Pyli
The Meteora – Pyli Geopark is a place where nature, history and culture coexist in harmony, offering a unique experience of exploration and knowledge. The geosites of the Geopark reveal the rich geological and natural heritage of the region, while at the same time bringing to light important traces of human presence through the centuries.
The geosites of the Geopark are classified into four categories, each of which tells its own unique story:

Sites of Historical – Cultural Interest
Points of particular cultural importance, such as historical monuments, traditional settlements, monasteries and myths associated with the place.
